Peter Dale and Darcy Garcia have just gotten married. Everything seems too good to be true. The pair decide to go into business together. When they realize their dreams of becoming private investigators are unrealistic, they settle on calling themselves private researchers. Peter and Darcy receive a strange phone call that sends them on a race for their lives amidst a sinister conspiracy. Realizing the dangerous reality of their situation and the threat to Los Angeles and then to the earth itself, the central characters use the Sherlock Holmes investigative technique of going from the general to the specific to gather clues and stop two different threats before it is too late.
