Peter Pactor is an award-winning author and EC Publishing’s author of the year 2025. Peter taught for fty years and was founder of the Academic Success Center, a group program in which students increased their GPA on the average of ten points by developing good study habits and a positive attitude toward learning. When Peter retired from teaching, there were still lessons that he wanted to teach—lifelessons that he normally taught in his classes. He believes that people learn best from stories and chose to write a novel rather than an expository book. Currently, there are eight books in the Daniel series. Peter has been a member of Toastmasters since 1987 and a storyteller for over thirty- ve years, a life-time member of the Tejas Storytelling Association. He has adopted four older children and is an advocate for young people and better schools and better parenting.
