The book starts out by describing initial events and characters leading to a memorial service for a US Attorney who saved the main characters, author’s life and career when targeted by US Customs agents in a check fraud and money laundering scheme set in motion by the threats of a Sicilian mobster that interacted with the authors girlfriend/wife to commit money laundering and check fraud. During the memorial service, the author provides flashback thoughts and events of what transpired the previous 15 years leading to his exoneration.

The story continues from the memorial service via numerous flashbacks relating to what transpired for the author and his family. The author exposes the players on both sides of including law enforcement and the Mob. And how Rudolf Giuliani through his incompetence made it possible for all these events to happen. It describes all the events that occurred as part of the check fraud and money laundering schemes with many very intense situations associated with taping the mobsters for US Customs.

It also exposes the treatment that the author received by the mob and by law enforcement that he help to put away these criminals and how he was betrayed by some of the law enforcement.

The book also describes how the author, to avoid retribution and possibly death was in protective custody under entering the Witness Program and finally how the US Attorney saved his career when he returned to the hospital and his employer wanted him fired.
